More than one Million

by Frank Diegel - published on 10 June 2021 120

In October 2019, we launched our web portal Marine-Pilots.com. Over the last few months we have gathered a large collection of reports, information, articles and videos on the topic of pilots around the world. Our aim is to make pilots visible and to give them a platform to inform and exchange information. Regardless of the origin, or whether the pilot belongs to a single organisation.

We are very pleased with what we have achieved in the last 20 months:
  • 1,100,000 million page views
  • 350,000 visitors
Many thanks to our large community that has developed here and for the trust you have placed in us! We now have over 20,000 people visiting us every month, with over 60,000 pages viewed.

662 pilot organisations from 125 countries today
To increase the visibility of individual pilot organisations and companies offering pilot services, we have created a unique overview:
This now lists 662 organisations and companies from 125 countries around the world. Even though we do a lot of research ourselves, we are still dependent on the help of our community, who provide us with further information about the protagonists in worldwide pilotage or correct and update our data. Please check the above link to see if you can find the organisation in which you provide your services and if all the information is correct and up to date. Feedback and suggestions please via info@marine-pilots.com

Marketplace
The "Marketplace" is brand new. Until further notice, questions can be asked here in a kind of bulletin board, used goods can be offered and much more. Just have a look:

Membership
In the next few weeks there will also be the possibility of a paid membership at Marine-Pilots.com, which offers many new, additional services and advantages. Profiles with a picture will make it easier to build up a network. Let us surprise you!

The same is done in reverse when a ship is outbound...
