The National Pilotage Meeting is an event promoted by the Brazilian Maritime Pilots Association (CONAPRA), which brings together a great number of Pilots from the various Brazilian Pilotage areas. At this conference, relevant and high-level technical issues will be discussed. Several leaders from Brazilian Pilotage services, as well as different professionals will participate.

Video AIS Track CMA CGM MISSOURI grounding in Suez Canal on Oct. 14 2020

Container ship CMA CGM MISSOURI ran aground in Suez Canal while transiting in southern direction, at around 0930 UTC Oct 14. As of 1745 UTC, probably refloated or moved, several Suez Canal tugs attending. Traffic probably suspended, but it’s not confirmed. No information on what caused grounding.

Video South Esk & Ederra 7 Interceptor 48 pilot boats rough weather sea trials

Here’s a nice video of the recent sea trials with ‘South Esk’, a new Interceptor 48 pilot boat for the Montrose Port Authority in Scotland. It was fairly rough during our sea trial days with a fair bit of wind, and although it was touch and go flying the drone, we managed to capture some wonderful video of her and Ederra 7 at the entrance to Cork Harbour in a gale.
