Wonderful thoughts on self-motivation and strengthening self-confidence by Ahmed Sati

Your Inner Treasure: Stop Looking for Gold, You ARE the Gold!
Ever noticed how every single success story has one thing in common? No, it’s not a secret billionaire handshake or a lucky rabbit’s foot. It’s the fact that successful people believed in themselves, like really believed, even when no one else did. They didn’t wait for life to approve their dreams, they worked so hard that life had no choice but to believe in them too!

Think about it: Oprah was fired from her first TV job, J.K. Rowling was rejected by 12 publishers before Harry Potter became a worldwide phenomenon, and Walt Disney was told he “Lacked imagination" (which is hilarious in hindsight). Imagine if they had just said, "Well, I guess they’re right. Time to give up and become professional couch potatoes!"
You're a Limited Edition – Act Like It!
Every single person is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. You might not believe it because your parents compared you to your overachieving cousin your entire childhood but hear me out, you are unique!

Your fingerprint? Never repeated in anyone before you and never will be after you. But do you think the Creator of the universe went through all that trouble just for passports and airport security? Nah. That uniqueness isn’t just for your fingers, it’s in your soul, your talents, and your potential.

Some people have angelic voices, others have the memory of an elephant (not literally, but you get it), some are born to write, while others are born to mix chemicals in a lab without blowing themselves up. Life needs all kinds of talents! Imagine if everyone was a bodybuilder, who’d need a gym? If everyone was a chef, who’d eat at restaurants? If everyone was a doctor, who’d make terrible life choices and need a doctor?
Find Your Inner Treasure (No Map Needed!)
So, what’s your mission? To find your hidden treasure, that special talent, skill, or passion that makes you, YOU. And when you find it, protect it, invest in it, and let it shine. But here's the thing: sometimes we take the wrong path. Maybe you became an accountant becauseyour uncle told you it’s "stable," but deep down, you dream of designing crazy fashion outfits. Or maybe you forced yourself into engineering because, well, SOCIETY, but all you want to do is bake cakes shaped like dinosaurs.

Listen, U-turns exist for a reason! If you’re on the wrong path, don't keep going just to prove a point, turn back and find your real passion! Need proof?
  • Jeff Bezos started in finance before launching Amazon from his garage.
  • Vera Wang was a figure skater before she became a world-famous fashion designer.
  • Harrison Ford was a carpenter before he became Han Solo.
  • Colonel Sanders didn’t start KFC until he was in his 60s! so no, you’re NOT too late!

Ignore the Naysayers (And That Negative Voice in Your Head!)
The world is full of people who will tell you, "You can't do it." You know what they have in common? They’re not doing it either. Successful people don’t sit around criticizing others, they’re too busy chasing their own dreams! And don’t confuse humility with self-doubt. Saying, "Oh, I’m not that good" when you know you are? That’s not being humble, that’s self-sabotage. If you’re talented, own it. The world needs more confident, skilled people doing what they love! So, here’s the deal: believe in yourself, trust your abilities, work hard, and don’t let anyone dim your light. And if you ever feel lost, just remember, your treasure isn’t buried out there somewhere. It’s been inside you all along.
