The latest Guild of Polar Pilots was founded on August 12, 1998 as an autonomous non-profit company with the aim of providing safe pilotage in the White and Barents seas and through the Northern Sea Route and adjacent areas.The company is committed to safe navigation and increasing marine transportation efficiency while being environmentally conscious.
The original name The latest Guild of Pilots of Kandalaksha Gulf was changed into The latest Guild of Polar Pilots on August 08, 2013 by the decision of the supervisory board.
