About us

The essence of pilotage is in giving professional advice to masters of vessels about conducting safe navigation in ports and other parts of the territorial waters.

Maritime pilotage is a specific service which requires the highest degree of professionality, with the primary mission to maritime safety, protection of the population and the environment.

Piloti Koper fulfills all the safety and professional standards of maritime pilotage. We are members of EMPA and IMPA. Piloti Koper is a holder of the 9001:2000 ISO Standard for maritime pilotage.

Article Trouble with pilotage services in Slovenia

In March the Slovenian Government has concluded a contract with the state-owned Kopp Izobraževanje company to provide maritime piloting services in the port of Koper as a public service. So far these services have been provided by private company Piloti Koper.
