Every day, Fremantle Ports managers go out into the workplace to make safety observations.

Well-prepared observers can bring new eyes to everyday activities, particularly high-risk ones. Such observations can help identify hazards early on, whether they arise from equipment, practices, the environment or non-conformance with procedures. By systematically tracking the resulting data, over time we can better understand our own safety risks and opportunities to improve.

Video Port of Dundee Welcomes New Pilot Boat Tay Discovery

At a special dedication ceremony at the Port of Dundee today, the new Tay Discovery pilot boat was given a traditional marine blessing for its service on the River Tay.
With the Dundee Heritage Trust and National Oceanography Centre present, the pilot boat has been named Tay Discovery which highlights the important role the port plays in the City of Discovery. The pilot fell into the sea from the cross at around 04.30 (04.02.2024) in the morning, while being transferred to the Cook Islands-The ppilot flagged 176 m long ship called NEW SIHAM, at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus.
