Beside our vessel database you can find quarterly statistics and graphical overview on the market development of the global shipping industry at "New Ships Orderbook". This feature helps to monitor the global market.

Intelligent search alerts
You can conveniently search for specific criteria and create email alters for these searches. As soon as a new vessel with these queries is published (eg "country of the shipyard: China"), you will receive an email. By clicking on the link in the email, all new vessels for the saved search will be highlighted in color on the website.

Export data and print functions
You can export all hit lists of your searches (as CSV - file). This is very useful if you want to create your own charts or import data to your own system. Our high-speed printing function for the hit list of your searches ist often used for meetings.

The Northwest Passage is the approximately 5780 km long sea route that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean north of the American continent. It crosses the Arctic Ocean and its marginal seas as well as the associated sea lanes through the Canadian-Arctic archipel ago.

Roald Amundsen made his first complete successfully crossing in 1903-1906 via the route discovered by John Rae through the James Ross Strait, Rae Strait and Simpson Strait on the small ship Gjøa.
