Med Marine and Misurata Free Zone signed a two-vessel contract for MED-P16 series in March 2022 for Misurata Free Zone’s operations in Misurata, Libya. After 8 months of construction period of the vessels, Misurata Free Zone takes the delivery of the two high- quality pilot boats. The Port of Milford Haven – the biggest port in Wales and largest energy port in the UK – will trial Zelim’s Swift rescue conveyor on its operational pilot vessels. The port may also utilise this technology on its new pilot vessel, which is currently in the final stages of contract award.

Singapore will have a dedicated 5G network covering its port waters by mid-2025. The network will be provided by local telco M1. It will allow the country to testbed maritime use cases that will make sea operations smoother and safer. Initial projects for the testbed will focus on the remote guiding of ships within Singapore's waters by qualified professionals known as harbour pilots.
