Handover of Kewatec Pilot 1630 to Gdańsk Pilot (Poland)

published on 15 November 2021 218 -

This week, Kewatec handed over another popular boat, Kewatec Pilot 1630, to the pilot boat operator Gdańsk Pilot in Poland. The fast pilot boat is self-righting and designed with extraordinary safety performance for both the pilots and boat operators.

Kewatec Pilot 1630 has a large wheelhouse, and it is flexible mounted to the hull for minimum noise. The boat is equipped with two Caterpillar C 18 marine engines and CJR FPP propellers. There is a separate galley and sleeping bunks in the downstairs. The extensive navigation equipment is supplied by Furuno and communication from Cobham Sailor.

In the coming week, the boat will join the recent fleet of Gdańsk Pilot, which also consists of the sister ship “PILOT 23” that was delivered to the customer last year. We wish good luck and safe seas with the new pilot boat!
