@Louis Vest - I'm sure the investigators would have access to the VDR data downloaded after the accident. This has been compiled only from the AIS data so lacks all the info needed to arrive at a clear conclusion.

Would be helpful to investigators if rudder angle information was part of the display. Also wind speed and direction. Without those it will be difficult to really know much about how she was being affected by bank effect and/or wind. Position and speed alone don't tell the whole picture.

The Golden Ray (a vehicle ship) capsized on 9/8/2019 and is being cut and dismantled to remove it from St Simons Channel, St Simons Island Ga.
