Camp David advertises with the following text:
"Authentic Style! The new Sea Pilots collection is dedicated to the navigation experts who guide the world's largest container ships safely into port in the harshest conditions."

In my opinion the text of a layman. Whether you like the clothes is certainly a question of taste:

What is authentic here?!

I look forward to receiving comments and opinions on this collection. Who likes it and who does not?

And no: Marine-Pilots.com don't get any money from Camp David for pointing out the new collection!

A alternative from Italy

When it comes to clothing there is still the great alternative from a "real" Harbour Pilot, namely from Stefano Stagnaro from Italy (clothes for women & men):

Statement of Stefano Stagnaro (HARBOUR PILOT)

"The launch of the HARBOUR PILOT brand stems from a long-time secret dream at long last coming true but, most importantly, it originates from the pride of carrying out a profession that deserves to be known and appreciated by the whole port-related sector and by the professions connected with it.

Therefore, the company’s objective is to raise awareness, by means of its clothing line, of the HARBOUR PILOT profession, as well as its values and relevant characteristics such as expertise, passion, determination, self-control, kindness, solidarity between categories and other port operators.
Our commitment consists in bringing the logo as far as possible, anywhere in the world where there is a port and a group of professionals carrying out their HARBOUR PILOT job in the most different situations and with different degrees of difficulty, fully aware of their own contribution to safety at sea. The objective is thus to enlarge the group of supporters of our job.
Your support is essential to the achievement of this ambitious goal. "
