Unconfirmed reports say a pilot boat collided with the container ship GODSPEED in Taiwan.

"Container ship GODSPEED reportedly collided with pilot boat at 2045 LT (UTC +8) Mar 9, while entering Taipei Port, Taiwan, on arrival from Taichung Taiwan. Understood there were two crew on board, but no maritime pilot. One of crew was recovered and declared dead, another one, skipper of the boat, is missing. The ship berthed at Taipei at around 2100 LT Mar 9.

Container ship GODSPEED, IMO 9426738, dwt 7990, capacity 500 TEU, built 2007, flag HK, manager CREATIVITY DRAGON HOLDINGS LTD, HK."

Video Hamburg-Süd 10.000-TEU container ship breached hull in ferry pontoon contact in Brazil

Container ship CAP SAN ANTONIO contacted landing pontoon of Santos – Guaruja commute ferry in the afternoon Jun 20, while leaving Santos, Brazil. The ship dragged pontoon for some time, and sustained portside hull breach above waterline, probably in ballast tank area. CAP SAN ANTONIO was taken to outer anchorage and anchored, for investigation, survey, probably for some temporary repairs. She’s bound for Paranagua.
