Iran: Two new investment contracts for supplying 10 pilot boats

According to the "PMO News Portal":
Contract for design, construction and delivery of 5 steel made pilot boats for the northern ports of the country and contract for design, construction and delivery of 5 aluminum made pilot boats for the southern ports of the country with the aim of improving the country's maritime operations capacity worth 3907 billion Rls. will be concluded between the Ports and Maritime Organization and two marine industrial companies.

According to this report, in order to make the most of the capacity of the country's scientific and academic centers in the maritime transport sector and promote the status of the maritime transport industry in the region and the world, a memorandum of technical, professional and research cooperation will be signed between the Ports and Maritime Organization and the university Iranian science and technology.

Development of scientific management in commercial ports in accordance with technological developments; Institutionalizing science, research and technology in the Ports and Maritime Organization in line with the policies of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and quality improvement and development of "research and study in port and maritime affairs and commercial shipping" are among the goals of this memorandum.
