New Self-Righting Boat Delivered To Hong Kong Pilots Association

China’s Hin Lee (Zhuhai) Shipyard has delivered a new pilot boat to the Hong Kong Pilots Association (HKPA).

The Camarc-designed Pilot 63 measures 17.3 by five metres and can reach speeds of up to 25 knots. The boat also possesses self-righting ability.

The newbuild will operate alongside sister vessel Pilot 62 in serving HKPA’s various clients.

However, assessments will raise questions by lawyers if something goes wrong. They will use tools to calculate what really is needed with respect to tug power and number of tugs. Video Singapore unveils plans for dedicated 5G network over its waters

It will allow the country to testbed maritime use cases that will make sea operations smoother and safer.
