The first half of 2021 is a testament to the organisation of DanPilot, a pilotage company that has been diligently adapting to a smaller market as a result of the fallout from Covid-19.

For the past three years, our mission has been to curate daily news, job offers and informative videos. What started as a small idea over breakfast has become an institution within the pilot community.

Many people we know only through the internet and we communicate by mail, chat or via social media. But this is also a way to build stable relationships and a good working relationship.

THE 15-metre-long ‘Port Láirge’, the Port of Waterford’s new Pilot Boat, was received by crew at the Dunmore East pontoon this (Friday) morning, two years after her commissioning.
