Harbor Pilot

The last pilot's trip of Vincent (Flemish pilotage). An unforgettable day provided by Vincent, his family and team 9. A trip from Vlissingen to the Zandvlietsluis on Saturday 18 September 2021.

To monitor the vessel’s progress, the pilot had set up his portable pilotage unit (PPU). He had connected the rate-of-turn generator to the vessel’s pilot plug and had set a variable range marker on the radar with a radius of 0.5 nm.

Kewatec Pilot 1820 is the flagship in the pilot boat fleet of the Kewatec AluBoat shipyard. It is designed for the Atlantic coast of Norway, where there are many in use.
