What a ride: Coast Guard boat is surfing in the mouth of the Duluth Canal

The Silver Bay Marina Cam views the tranquil harbor and docks for pleasure boats while also able to view the 1000 ft ore carriers entering North Shore Mining just to the east.
Boats up to 100' can be accommodated on a daily or seasonal basis in one of the 110 spacious slips.

From atop the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center in Duluth, these cameras provide one of the most intimate views of Duluth's Aerial Lift Bridge and Shipping Canal. Shipbuilder Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding, Duclos Corporation, said it has delivered by road transport a new pilot boat to the Lake Pilots in Port Huron, Mich. The Resilient Class high-speed launch Huron Pride is the pilots’ third boat built by the Somerset-Mass. shipyard since 1979.
