This is a video I had captured off U.S Coast from a merchant vessel as the Pilot was transferred from our Ship to Shore via Helicopter.

All recordings were done using N8 (unbelievable clarity!)

MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS It was an early morning arrival in the port of Le Havre FRANCE 🇫🇷 with the sun just about to rise !! Version from 1st May 2021: Ships that require the services of a pilot need to ensure that the Pilot Transfer Arrangements (PTA) they provide are in compliance with the requirements prescribed under SOLAS V/23 and IMO Resolution A.1045(27) [as amended by IMO Resolution A.1108(29)].

This video provides another possible physics that could also cause the Ro/Ro Ship Golden Ray to capsize in 2019 in a very benign environment. At the time of this video posted, Golden Ray salvage is still going on and the cost of this event was estimated to pass $3/4 billion so far.
