Accident during embarking: Pilot's foot crushes

SINGAPORE: A 29-year-old harbour pilot from PSA Marine died on Saturday (Feb 11) after falling into waters off Kusu Island.

A court sentenced a captain to a total of 30 months imprisonment: It had been proven beyond doubt that the side ropes had been manipulated to make a ship inspection more difficult or to prevent it.

The United States Coast Guard presented an award to a Mount Pleasant man for his act of maritime heroism earlier this month on Wednesday.
