Equipped with dual external antenna ports and an advanced Hexa IMU, SIRIUS+ delivers enhanced accuracy and performance for professional maritime navigation. The integration of six Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) significantly improves data precision, while the addition of RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) correction capability ensures centimeter-level positioning accuracy—critical for demanding pilotage operations.

Despite its enhanced technology, SIRIUS+ remains one of the lightest PPUs in its class, weighing just 290 grams. It features an extended WiFi range, enabled by an external WiFi antenna, while an additional GNSS antenna port allows for flexible positioning within the ship’s bridge. This ensures optimal GNSS reception, independent of the Pilot Plug’s location.
SIRIUS+ is ready for use in under 30 seconds and provides a ship-independent Rate of Turn (ROT) after a calibration time of around 20 seconds. Its battery offers up to 31 hours of continuous use and can be recharged during operation via USB Power Delivery.
