These operating divisions are Auriga Pilots, Auriga Marine and Auriga Aviation. Our group of companies is involved in facilitating and enabling approximately 50% of all Australian trade nationally by way of Marine Pilotage Services, Marine Logistics Services and Aviation Marine Pilot Transfer Services.

Auriga Pilots provides marine pilotage services for Iron Ore transhipping port located approximately one hour South of Karratha.  The position is for a  Marine Pilot at the Port mainly piloting tug and barges but also anchoring Cape size bulk carriers and sailing them from anchor once loaded. This is very much a hands on position requiring fit and agile personnel.

Mandatory Requisites

  • Minimum Master Class 3 CoC
  • Valid MSIC
  • Valid C Class Driver’s License
  • Current AMSA Medical
  • Permanent Australia Residency
  • Computer Literate
  • Customer Focus
  • Fully vaccinated + booster for COVID-19
  • WA Resident only 

 

Desirable Requisites

  • Tug and Barge handling experience
  • Ship handling experience
  • Available for immediate start
