Fathom Safety: "A Guide to Pilot Ladder Securing"

We at Marine-Pilots.com support the dissemination of the Fathom Safety document and look forward to discussing its contents. Is everything correct? Can anything be improved?

This is the intension of Fathom Safety and maritime pilot Gary Clay:
"Fathom Safety was established as a not for profit organisation dedicated to improving maritime pilot transfer safety. We are currently working on high quality animated e-learning courses for ships deck crew, Officers, DPA’s and pilots. We’re also producing a series of clear, concise printable guides to everything surrounding pilot transfer.
So here’s our first, a guide to pilot ladder rigging. We hope you like it!"

Tuesday, October 1st is the start date of the latest International Maritime Pilot Association's annual Safety Campaign.

Previous campaigns by the association have consistently shown results of pilot ladder deficiencies around the 20% mark.
