The European Maritime Pilot´s Association has released the new Newsletter issue 003/2022.

EMPA has released their latest newsletter.

The European Maritime Pilots' Association (EMPA) has compiled a very good overview of current (and also country-specific) documents concerning the COVID-19 pandemic on its website. This page is updated regularly.

The Sabine Pilots who help ships navigate their way up and down our waterways officially have a new place to call home.

The investment in the vessels to work on the busy waterways will see the arrival next year of the next generation of pilot boats built by Holyhead Marine.

Captain Kevin Vallance awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for services to Maritime Safety.

Baltic Workboats AS in Estonia was awarded the contract to build the approximately 18 metre long vessel, which will be named "Hamburg Pilot 1", following a Europe-wide tender.
