Frank Kowalski, Managing Director at Safehaven Marine announces:
"Safehaven Marine are delighted to have signed contracts with P&O Maritime for an Interceptor 48 pilot boat. This will be the 5th pilot boat we have built for P&O Maritime / DP World. It’s always great to have a repeat order, especially a 5th as it’s a fine testimony to our pilot boats capabilities.

The pilot boat is for their operations in Maputo, Mozambique and will be powered by MAN’s excellent 13litre 500hp engines. She will also be built to a very high specification especially for hot weather operations, and be delivered in early 2024. She will become our 60th pilot boat delivered."

Article Safehaven Marine to build a second S.A.R. Interceptor 48 for the Faroe Islands Rescue Service

Safehaven Marine have signed contracts with the Faroe Islands Rescue Service for an Interceptor 48
‘self-righting’ S.A.R. (Search and Rescue craft.) This is the second S.A.R. Interceptor 48 we have
supplied to the Faroe Islands following ‘Sverri’ in 2013, which has worked very well in the
challenging North Atlantic seas they face off the Islands, with her crew being totally confident with
her seakeeping abilities, performance and reliability during rescue operations over the last 7 years.
